Warm feeling in the aisle with Maya from the office

I was at the grocery store after work, still in my coat, looking for coffee. In the next aisle I saw Maya from the office, except she also felt a little like my old college roommate, which was confusing. She smiled like she was glad I was there and asked if I wanted to split a ride home. We walked the long aisle toward checkout and it kept going, past the same cereal boxes twice. I couldn't find my phone to check the time, and I kept thinking I was going to miss the bus, but I didn't want to leave her. She touched my sleeve when she pointed at something, and I got that warm, stupid feeling in my chest. Then we were somehow in the break room too, fluorescent lights and all, and she was saying something I couldn't quite hear. I woke up still trying to answer her.
