People ask us for something plain. They want to read a dream that is not theirs, and they want to talk with the person who had it. Not a symbol guide. The other night, in that person's words, and a way to answer.
Deposit a Dream is where you record your own dreams. We are building the next part: dreamers will be able to see dreams other people chose to share, and talk with those dreamers. It is not live. If you came here to start that conversation today, it is not on the site yet.
What is already here
You can write a dream down, and you can read dreams that are already public. What you cannot do yet is talk with the dreamer who left one. That conversation is the part we are building.
Seeing a dream is a different wish from matching two reports. Two people can write nights that line up and still have had two separate dreams. We explain that in what a shared dream means. This page is about seeing a dream that is not yours, and talking with the dreamer who recorded it.
What we are building
A dreamer should be able to open someone else's dream and talk with that dreamer. We are making that. We are not going to say the talk is already there, and we are not going to name a day.
The written dream still comes first. If the night was never recorded, no one else can see it, and there is nobody to talk to. Until the conversation exists, recording the dream is the part you can do.
What we will not spell out here
We are not describing how the conversation will work. We are not listing rules for it. Putting those details on this page would make the feature sound finished, and it is not.
