Endless hallway leads to a coffee shop betrayal

I woke up late for work and rushed out of the apartment, but the hallway kept stretching forever. When I finally got to the office, I realized I was wearing my boyfriend's old college hoodie instead of my suit. He was there, sitting at his desk, but he kept glancing at a new coworker—a woman I’d never seen before, laughing at his jokes. I tried to focus on my computer, but every time I turned around, the woman was sitting next to me, smiling, and we started talking about a project that didn’t exist. Suddenly the office turned into the coffee shop we used to go to on Sundays, and I was ordering a latte for two. He walked in, saw us, and his face fell. I felt a knot in my stomach, like I was watching myself cheat on him with the woman, even though I was just trying to finish a report. The dream ended with me standing in the hallway again, keys in hand, hearing the door lock click behind me as I left.
