Endless Lobby Panic During Late Presentation At Work

I woke up sweating after dreaming I was late for my presentation at work. I was standing in the lobby of our office building, but the hallway stretched on forever, doors opening onto the same beige carpet. My laptop was missing, and I could feel the weight of the USB drive in my pocket, but when I reached for it, the pocket was empty. I ran to the conference room, but every door I tried led back to the lobby, and the clock on the wall kept flashing 8:59. My manager's face was a blur of two people – my old college professor and the guy from the coffee shop downstairs. I tried to explain the slides, but the projector showed a blank screen that kept flickering to a childhood photo of me on a school field trip. Panic rose, then I heard the fire alarm, and everyone started filing out, but the exit was a stairwell that led to my childhood bedroom. I slammed the door, grabbed my keys, and realized I was still in my pajamas. I woke up just as the alarm buzzed in the real world.
