Lost in Familiar Hallways

I was back at my old high school, but it looked different - the hallways were longer and the lockers were the same color as the ones at my college. I was trying to get to my first period class, but I couldn't find the room. I kept walking down the hallway, passing by familiar faces from my past, but they didn't seem to recognize me. I felt anxious and late. Then, I saw my old friend Emily, but she was acting weird and distant. I tried to talk to her, but she just kept walking. I started to feel a sense of unease, like someone was watching me. I quickened my pace, but my legs felt heavy. I turned a corner and saw a figure in a hoodie standing by a classroom door. My heart started racing, but as I got closer, it was just my old gym teacher, Mr. Johnson. He smiled and said 'good morning', and I felt relieved. But then I realized I wasn't sure what period it was or where I was supposed to be.
