The Aisle Kept Looping Back to Cereal After Work

I dreamed I was at the grocery store after work, still in my badge lanyard, looking for pasta. The aisle felt longer than usual and kept looping back to cereal. A neighbor from my building was there, or maybe it was my old roommate mixed with her face. She whispered that someone had taken a wallet from the cart two aisles over and the cameras were fake. I kept checking my own pocket and my phone was gone. Staff wouldn’t look at me. I tried to leave through the automatic doors but they opened onto the hallway of my apartment, fluorescent and empty. I could hear someone rummaging in a kitchen that wasn’t mine. I wanted to call the police but I only had a receipt. When I found my phone it was ringing with a blocked number and I woke up anxious, like I’d actually left something behind.
