I found myself standing in a city square, surrounded by skyscrapers that seemed to be made of a material that shifted between glass, steel, and iridescent butterfly wings. The streets were filled with people, but they were all moving in reverse, unwalking backwards with purposeful strides. I tried to join them, but my feet felt rooted to the spot. A giant, mechanical tree in the center of the square began to glow, its branches weaving a hypnotic pattern in the air. As I watched, the tree's trunk opened like a door, revealing a staircase that descended into the depths of the city. The unwalking crowd began to seep into the tree's trunk, disappearing into the depths below. I felt an irresistible pull to follow, and as I stepped into the tree, the world above me dissolved into a kaleidoscope of colors and reversed sounds.
