Waking Still Convinced of Millions on the Móvil

I woke up a little while ago and I have to write this down before I forget it, because it was one of those dreams that for a few seconds seem completely real.

I dreamed that I had started betting on sports almost by chance. I had no special strategy. I simply watched the matches and, somehow, I knew what was going to happen.

The first bet was small, about 20 €. I bet on a team that was losing and, in the last minutes, they came back. I won about 80 €. I thought it was luck.

Then I bet again.

And I was right again.

And again.

The strangest thing was that I felt no emotion or nerves. Before each match I simply had an absolute certainty of what was going to happen. It was as if I had already seen the match.

I started with 20 €, then I had 500 €, then 10.000 €. At some point I looked at the account and 1.000.000 € appeared.

I don't remember exactly how I got there. In the dream it seemed to have happened in a matter of days.

The next thing I remember is sitting in a restaurant with some friends. One of them asked me how much money I had and I showed him my phone.

The figure kept rising.

5.284.731 €

Then 8.912.400 €.

And then something strange happened: I opened a bet for the next match and, for the first time, I did not know what was going to happen.

I stared at the odds for a very long time.

There was a huge bet prepared, enough to change my life again. Everyone around me was telling me to bet because I "always got it right."

But I couldn't make up my mind.

Finally I pressed the button.

The screen stayed loading.

Just before the result appeared, I woke up.

The first thing I did was grab my phone.

For a few seconds I was still convinced that I had several million in the account.

Then I realized it had only been a dream.

And, honestly, it made me quite angry.
