Trapped in the Grocery Store During a Storm

I was stuck inside my childhood grocery store after closing, but the aisles went on forever and the power kept flickering. Outside, a bad winter storm was pounding against the glass, and for some reason my old coworker Mike said we had to ration the bakery bread because the doors were completely frozen shut. I had to hike through this endless camping aisle that shouldn't have been there, trying to find blankets or a heavy coat. My phone battery was at three percent and my fingers were so stiff I couldn't dial out. We built this rough shelter out of shipping pallets in the back warehouse while the wind howled through the vents, and I spent what felt like hours searching for matches that kept slipping through my hands. I woke up freezing with my blankets kicked off.
