Late for the Meeting in the Pharmacy Office Lobby

I was late for a meeting at work, but the office lobby was also the pharmacy near my apartment. Dana from accounting had left a voicemail that sounded like she was hiding, whispering that I shouldn’t come up. I took the elevator anyway. Every time the doors opened it was the same floor, just a longer hallway with extra doors that weren’t numbered. People I know walked past and wouldn’t look at me. At the far end I thought I saw Dana in my sister’s coat. When I got closer it was only a coat on a chair. Footsteps kept matching mine. I tried to call her and my phone showed yesterday’s date. I couldn’t find the stairs. I woke up still checking over my shoulder.
