Lost at Lincoln High Reunion

I was trying to get to my old high school for some kind of reunion or meeting, but I couldn't find the right bus. I kept asking the driver if this was the one that went to Lincoln High, and he just shrugged and said I was on the right route. But when I looked out the window, I saw we were driving past my old neighborhood, not the school. I felt anxious and frustrated, like I was going to be late. Then I realized I had left my phone on the kitchen counter at home and I couldn't remember the number for the school. When I finally got to the school, it was in a different location than I remembered, and the hallway seemed way longer than it used to be. I ran into my old math teacher, Mrs. Johnson, but she was also my neighbor from back then, and it felt weird talking to her in both roles at once. I couldn't quite recall what I was supposed to be doing there, but I felt relieved to see a familiar face.
