Lost phone on the early train

I was supposed to meet my cousin at the station so we could take the early train to see our uncle, the one who moved away when we were kids. I had my backpack, but when I checked the pocket my phone was gone, and the departure board kept changing the platform. I walked down a corridor that felt like the hallway outside my old bedroom, then opened a door and was somehow already on the train. My cousin was there, only she looked a bit like my sister too, and she said we'd missed the stop but it was fine, we could get off at the next one and walk. Outside the window the streets were our neighborhood, just longer, with the corner shop sitting next to a place I didn't recognize. I felt nervous about being late and a little thrilled, like we were actually going somewhere. We stepped off into bright morning air and I still didn't have my phone, but I wasn't as worried as I should have been.
