I was driving the car, the old Mercedes e260 from 1988, with my wife, both of us. Suddenly the highway ended and a narrow road appeared. I entered that road, which was full of twists and turns. Soon I reached a spot where it seemed I couldn’t go any further. I thought, if I keep going this way, I’ll have to turn, and I found a river at the bottom of a slope.
The car rolled into the water. I tried to brake, but the brakes didn’t work. Half of the hood sank into the river and the car stopped. It couldn’t move backward. My partner, who can’t swim, was trapped with me. I felt panic, yet I was aware it was a dream. I decided to wake up to relieve the anxiety because the car kept sinking deeper and wouldn’t stop, and if I got out, my partner wouldn’t be able to.
I forced myself to wake up, escaping the dread of being stuck in the water with my wife.
The dream ends with a sudden awakening, freeing both of us from the flood‑filled nightmare.

The driver steers the 1988 sedan through tight curves, the road climbing and dropping with increasing urgency.
